Fire Safety Training

Fire safety training is a legal requirement of UK fire legislation requiring that all businesses provide fire safety training to their employees.

Complete Fire Security offer professional fire safety training sessions in Bath and the surrounding areas with qualified experts. We aim to make the training as interactive and practical as possible, using the latest technology to simulate real fires and give your staff hands on fire safety training by tackling a small fire with a range of extinguishers.

To book a fire safety training course in Bath, Wiltshire or the surrounding areas, call Complete Fire Security on 01373 823131. We can arrange on site fire safety training at your workplace no matter where in the South West you are based.

Fire Safety Training Course Info

Our fire safety training courses are carried out by qualified ex fire service officers. Courses are 2 Hours in duration and will be carried out at your workplace, meaning an outside area is required for the live fire simulation unit. All course material, handouts and extinguishers will be provided. We usually take between 10 and 20 candidates per session.

The course is designed for members of staff nominated as 'fire wardens' and the aim is to provide these candidates with a greater understanding of fire risks in the workplace, including the way it spreads and the correct way to extinguish it, along with appropriate evacuation procedures.

Your site will be left clean and free from any extinguisher residue.

Fire Risk Assessment

Much like fire safety training, fire risk assessments are a legal requirement for all businesses or premises which are occupied by employees or members of the public. For example, offices, shops, hotels, restaurants, pubs and community centres should all have a fire risk assessment carried out to ensure that the property is adequately equipped to deal with a fire.

Following your risk assessment you will receive a document detailing the areas in which your property does not to comply with the necessary regulations alongside an action plan explaining the methods by which these problems can be rectified. Fire risk assessments should always be carried out professionally so that all hazards and precautions can be evaluated correctly. Our risk assessments are carried out by a fully trained risk assessor using approved inspection methods.

Whilst risk assessments should typically be carried out annually, if there are any major changes to the property, equipment, work processes or owners, a re-assessment should be carried out sooner than this. Complete Fire Security offer a very competitive rate for risk assessment.
